Black Belt Community Service

My husand, Mike, will be testing for his black belt, and our children, Hannah, Caleb, and Rebekah will all be testing for their first degree in early December. As part of their Black Belt Journey, Mastery Martial Arts requires each candidate to organize and carry out a community service project. Mike and the kids chose to do  a trash pick up/clean up at the RI Historical Cemetery / Town of North Smithfield #35, and at Globe Park / Woonsocket.  North Smithfield is the town our studio is in. And Globe Park is right in our own neighborhood.  We love our local history, and the beauty of the local historical sights and parks. We learn as we endeavor to do our part to keep these locations safe and clean for all to enjoy. Special thanks to Mastery Martial Arts for encouraging community service as part of their black belt requirements.
